The app told me this is Dutch elm |
I went for a lovely run this morning, down by the side of the Aragon river in Jaca. The trees are showing their spring glory. I had to stop and take some pictures. I've been trying to identify some of them. I used the very useful app Plantnet but identifying trees in spring before the leaves are out is difficult.
I can do this one: sycamore |
This lovely mist of flowers is probably blackthorn |
Blackthorn |
I'd say silver birch |
Probably an almond tree |
Oregon barberry according to Plantnet |
Easy! It's a horse chestnut. |
I think this is the hawthorn |
forsythia |
Maybe Dutch elm? |
Apple, probably crab apple |
Such pretty flowers! |
There are lots of cherry trees |
Not in flower yet: this is probably the prettiest: the bird cherry |
Is it a silver birch? |
I'm sure I'd know if I saw it, but not like this! |
